Wooden-Pixel Studios makes games for children, so we take this seriously and keep it short. This page covers www.wooden-pixel.com — the marketing site you're reading right now.

What we collect

Only what you type into the mailing list form, plus a small amount of technical context we keep as a record that the signup was genuine:

Why we keep the technical bits

The timestamp, IP address, and user-agent exist to prove a signup was real and consensual, and to stop bots from stuffing the list. They aren't used to profile you, and they aren't shared.

What we do with it

We send you studio updates — development progress, character art, behind-the-scenes, and first word on release dates. That's the only thing your email is used for. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not send you anyone else's marketing.

Where it lives

Signups are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database attached to this site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. If we later move the list to a dedicated email service in order to actually send mail, we'll note it here.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising or social tracking pixels. We do load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them.

Children

Our games are made for kids ages 4–14. Our mailing list is not. It's for grown-ups, which is why the form asks you to confirm you're 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the record.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time to unsubscribe, to see what we hold about you, or to have your record deleted outright — we'll do it and confirm when it's done.
